  • BDSM [ bdsm-training, bondage-rope, ds-training, discipline-punishment, dominatrix-training, fetishes, flogging-crops-paddling, foot-worship, slave-training ]

BDSMBDSM is a variety of often erotic practices or roleplaying involving bondage, discipline, dominance and submission, sadomasochism, and other related interpersonal dynamics. Given the wide range of practices, some of which may be engaged in by people who do not consider themselves as practising BDSM, inclusion in the BDSM community or subculture is usually dependent upon self-identification and shared experience. Activities and relationships within a BDSM context are often characterized by the participants taking on complementary, but unequal roles; thus, the idea of informed consent of both the partners is essential. The terms "submissive" and "dominant" are often used to distinguish these roles: the dominant partner ("dom") takes psychological control over the submissive ("sub"). The terms "top" and "bottom" are also used: the top is the instigator of an action while the bottom is the receiver of the action.
  • Bondage [ bdsm-training, bondage-rope, ds-training, discipline-punishment, dominatrix-training, flogging-crops-paddling, slave-training ]

KTTG: bondageIn the BDSM subculture, Bondage is the practice of consensually tying, binding, or restraining a partner for erotic, aesthetic, or somatosensory stimulation. A partner may be physically restrained in a variety of ways, including the use of rope, cuffs, bondage tape, or self-adhering bandage.
  • CBT [ bdsm-training, bondage-rope, ds-training, discipline-punishment, dominatrix-training, flogging-crops-paddling, slave-training ]

KTTG: cbtCock and ball torture (CBT), penis torture or dick torture is a sexual activity involving application of pain or constriction to the penis or testicles. This may involve directly painful activities, such as genital piercing, wax play, genital spanking, squeezing, ball-busting, genital flogging, urethral play, tickle torture, erotic electrostimulation or even kicking.[1] The recipient of such activities may receive direct physical pleasure via masochism, or emotional pleasure through erotic humiliation, or knowledge that the play is pleasing to a sadistic dominant. Many of these practices carry significant health risks.
  • Collared [ bdsm-training, ds-training, discipline-punishment, dominatrix-training, slave-training ]

KTTG: CollaredIn a BDSM context, a collar is a device of any material worn by a person around the neck to indicate their submissive or slave status in a BDSM relationship. A person wearing a collar to symbolize their relationship with another is said to be collared. Some people conduct formal "collaring ceremonies", which are regarded as effectively solemnizing their relationship in a similar way as a marriage ceremony and the collar having similar significance as a wedding ring. The standard form of a collar is a black leather band around the neck, often with metal D-rings added to allow the attachment of a leash, rope or other restraints; but to be more discreet in public, some people may wear an ordinary choker or jewelry necklace for the same symbolic purpose. Collars may be used in role-playing games involving erotic humiliation because they have connotations of control and pet-like status, especially when worn with a leash.
  • Crops [ bdsm-training, bondage-rope, ds-training, discipline-punishment, dominatrix-training, flogging-crops-paddling, slave-training ]

KTTG: CropsAKA Riding crops are among the most popular accessories used during impact and sensation play. This accessory can also be used during mild to intense BDSM sessions, erotic role-playing, or power exchange. Riding crops often vary in thickness and can also be enhanced with metal studs or spikes for deeper sensations. According to experts on sexual health, some practice is required to properly use a riding crop on your sexual partner without causing non-erotic pain. While some people choose to go for regular riding crops, most individuals prefer to opt for crops that have been explicitly designed for sexual arousal. Generally speaking, the thinner the crop, the louder the "swoosh" will be as it cuts through the air. It is a sound that most people enjoy.
  • Discipline [ bdsm-training, discipline-punishment, dominatrix-training, flogging-crops-paddling, slave-training ]

KTTG: disciplineThe goal of discipline is to teach the sub that they have made a mistake, so that they learn self-restraint and become a better sub in the future. The punishment is generally related to the mistake, and is generally proportionate to the severity and frequency of the mistake. For example, a punishment for speaking out of turn for the first time may be a simple restraint (such as being silenced using a gag). The sub may also be given the option of choosing a punishment (i.e., to be either caned on the buttocks or slapped on the face).
  • Dominatrix [ bdsm-training, bondage-rope, ds-training, discipline-punishment, dominatrix-training, flogging-crops-paddling, foot-worship, slave-training ]

KTTG: DominatrixA dominatrix (/ˌdɒmɪˈneɪtrɪks/, plural dominatrices /-ˈneɪtrɪsiːz, -nəˈtraɪ-/), is a woman who takes the dominant role in BDSM activities. A dominatrix might be of any sexual orientation, but her orientation does not necessarily limit the genders of her submissive partners. The role of a dominatrix may not even involve physical pain toward the submissive; her domination can be verbal, involving humiliating tasks, or servitude. A dominatrix is typically a paid professional (pro-domme) as the term dominatrix is little-used within the non-professional BDSM scene.
  • DOMME [ bdsm-training, bondage-rope, ds-training, discipline-punishment, dominatrix-training, flogging-crops-paddling, foot-worship, slave-training ]

KTTG: DommeThe term domme is a coined pseudo-French female variation of the slang dom (short for dominant). The use of domme, dominatrix, dom, or dominant by any woman in a dominant role is chosen mostly by personal preference and the conventions of the local BDSM scene. The term mistress or dominant mistress is sometimes also used. Female dominance, female domination or femdom refer to BDSM activities in which the dominant partner is female.
  • Dungeon [ bdsm-training, bondage-rope, ds-training, discipline-punishment, dominatrix-training, fetishes, flogging-crops-paddling, foot-worship, slave-training ]

KTTG: DungeonA BDSM dungeon is an indoor space designated specifically for BDSM play or BDSM scenes. These spaces are usually stocked with various BDSM toys and equipment which can be used during scenes. Some dungeons may even come equipped with shackles on the walls or St. Andrew's crosses. Any number of BDSM activities can occur in a dungeon including activities such as flogging, bondage, suspension, age play, and resistance play. The term dungeon does not necessarily mean that these spaces are in castles or underground. Private dungeons, such as those inside private residences, may occupy space in basements, but can also be set up in bedrooms, spare rooms, or even large walk-in closets. Public dungeons may occupy warehouses or nightclubs and are usually open to the public, although they typically operate very quietly.
  • Femdom [ bdsm-training, ds-training, discipline-punishment, dominatrix-training, fetishes, flogging-crops-paddling, slave-training ]

Female dominance (femdom) refers to a BDSM scene or relationship in which a female is the dominant partner, or top partner. A dominant female may have a number of different names, including dominatrix, mistress or madame. Female dominants often engage in BDSM activities such as bondage, ball busting, humiliation, face sitting, forced feminization, forced chastity, forced orgasm, and pegging.
  • Flogged [ bdsm-training, ds-training, discipline-punishment, dominatrix-training, fetishes, flogging-crops-paddling, slave-training ]

  • Flogger [ bdsm-training, ds-training, discipline-punishment, dominatrix-training, flogging-crops-paddling, slave-training ]

A flogger is a device used to flog, or whip, a consenting partner, usually during a BDSM scene. Floggers typically consist of several tails attached to a rigid handle. The tails may be made from a number of materials, including horsehair, rubber, or leather. In BDSM, the aim isn't to harm but to use pain to increase sensation, and therefore sexual pleasure.
  • Flogging [ bdsm-training, discipline-punishment, dominatrix-training, flogging-crops-paddling, slave-training ]

KTTG: FloggingFloggers are versatile in the range of use and impact there are various strengths ranging from light, medium, and heavy strokes. For purposes of safety, especially for the novices, the best and basic area to flog is the upper back away from the spine (it’s important to avoid the spine to prevent any vertebrae/tissue injury). Other areas to flog, but do so with caution for issues of sensitivity and potential for injury, include the butt, thighs, and breasts. The basics of flogging is to strike a specific area of the back repeatedly and accurately, to allow a build up endorphins, then move to another spot to strike a few times, and so on. For the “newbies,” start with a lighter, more gentle flogger before working your way up to bigger floggers once you gain more experience and practice.
  • Foot [ ds-training, dominatrix-training, foot-worship, slave-training ]

KTTG: Foot WorshipFoot fetishism has been defined as a pronounced sexual interest in feet. For a foot fetishist, points of attraction may include the shape and size of feet and toes (e.g. long toes, short toes, painted toenails, high arches, soles etc.), jewelry (e.g. toe rings, anklets, etc.), treatments (such as massaging, washing partner's feet or painting partner's toenails), state of dress (barefoot, flip flops, sandals, high heels, hosiery, socked feet, etc.), foot odor and/or sensory interaction (e.g. rubbing the foot, tickling, smelling, kissing, biting, licking, sucking toes, rubbing genitals on foot, etc.) Extensions of this fetish include shoes, socks and tickling. Sigmund Freud considered foot binding as a form of fetishism.
  • Leash Training [ bdsm-training, ds-training, discipline-punishment, dominatrix-training, fetishes, slave-training ]

KTTG: Leash TrainingAKA Animal roleplay may also be found in BDSM contexts, where an individual may take part in a dominant/submissive relationship by being treated as an animal. The activity is often referred to as petplay. However, not all types of animal roleplay within BDSM are petplay and not all petplay in BDSM involves roleplaying as an animal; some can be referred to as primal play and furry play.
  • Olfactophilia [ bdsm-training, ds-training, fetishes, foot-worship, slave-training ]

Olfactophilia is a paraphilia in which individuals derive sexual pleasure and arousal from smells and odours. Typically, the erotic focus relates to body odours of a sexual partner, including genital odours. One arguably bizarre sub-type of olfactophilia is eproctophilia.
  • OTK [ bdsm-training, ds-training, discipline-punishment, dominatrix-training, slave-training ]

KTTG: otk The over the knee (OTK) position is the most commonly used position to perform a spanking. The individual being spanked leans over the knee of the individual performing the spanking. The individual performing the spanking is typically seated with feet flat on the floor, though, this can be done while kneeling. An over the knee spanking is commonly used as a form of punishment for a submissive partner.
  • Paddling [ bdsm-training, ds-training, discipline-punishment, dominatrix-training, flogging-crops-paddling, slave-training ]

KTTG: PaddlingPaddling refers to a form of sexual practice where one person, usually the submissive, is repeatedly struck by their dominant. This brings sexual gratification to all parties and is generally consensual. Erotic paddling is also regarded as impact play, which is a form of BDSM. While paddles are more usually designed to strike the submissive across the buttocks, it can also be used around the genital regions, back of the thighs, breasts, and lower abdomen. Erotic paddles are manufactured from various types of materials. The most common materials are wood, leather, and plastic. Paddles sport a handle and a flat surface and can easily be held with one hand. The sex toy market does have oversized paddles that need to be held with both hands.
  • Punishment [ bdsm-training, ds-training, discipline-punishment, dominatrix-training, flogging-crops-paddling, slave-training ]

KTTG: PunishmentPunishments done on BDSM submissives, even very harsh ones, should not be confused with sadomasochism. S&M involves giving pain/torture to a "sub" for the enjoyment of "sub" and/or "dom". Contrarily, punishments for disciplining are in response to violations of predetermined rules by a sub, or for otherwise displeasing the dominant. Punishment is considered a necessary evil in BDSM, as without it, a sub may repeat mistakes and thus not improve as a sub. 'BDSM punishment' is also not 'forced abuse' – in the former a sub must have granted the trainer prior authority to punish. Punishment should also not be confused with BDSM training which may involve giving pain just for increasing the endurance limit of the sub. Sometimes, disciplining may avoid punishment altogether, and just a hard glance or loud voice from the dominant may be effective.
  • Rope [ bdsm-training, bondage-rope, ds-training, discipline-punishment, dominatrix-training, fetishes, slave-training ]

KTTG: ropeAKA Rope Bondage or Kinbaku (緊縛) means "tight binding," while Kinbaku-bi (緊縛美) literally means "the beauty of tight binding." Kinbaku is a Japanese style of bondage or BDSM which involves tying a person up using simple yet visually intricate patterns, usually with several pieces of thin rope (often jute, hemp or linen and generally around 6 mm in diameter, but sometimes as small as 4 mm, and between 7 – 8 m long). In Japanese, this natural-fibre rope is known as asanawa (麻縄); the Japanese vocabulary does not make a distinction between hemp and jute. The allusion is to the use of hemp rope for restraining prisoners, as a symbol of power, in the same way that stocks or manacles are used in a Western BDSM context. The word shibari came into common use in the West at some point in the 1990s to describe the bondage art Kinbaku. Shibari (縛り) is a Japanese word that literally means "to tie decoratively".
  • Sadomasochism [ bdsm-training, discipline-punishment, dominatrix-training, flogging-crops-paddling, slave-training ]

Sadomasochism is defined as a sexual enjoyment of both sadism (a desire to give pain) and masochism (a desire to receive pain). When a couple is in a relationship where the woman enjoys whipping the man and the man enjoys being whipped and both derive sexual pleasure from these activities, this is an example of sadomasochism.
  • Sissy Training [ bdsm-training, bondage-rope, ds-training, discipline-punishment, dominatrix-training, fetishes, flogging-crops-paddling, foot-worship, slave-training ]

KTTG: Sissy trainingSissy Training AKA forced feminization. In the context of dominance and submission or kink subcultures, "forced" feminization[1] or feminisation (see spelling differences), also known as sissification, refers to the practice of dressing a submissive partner as a woman and/or encouraging or training them to act in a feminine or exaggeratedly feminine ("hyperfeminine") manner. If male, the submissive partner may be called a "sissy". Feminization may occur without a partner as a component of solo masturbation and/or through interactions with an online community. Feminization is usually achieved via cross-dressing, where the male is dressed in female attire, ranging from just wearing female undergarments to being fully dressed in very feminine attire, including make-up, hairdress and nail polish. Some males take on tasks, behaviours and roles that are overtly feminine, and adopt female mannerisms and postures in tasks such as sitting, walking, and acting in a feminine manner. This emasculation may be coupled with punishments such as spanking or caning to gain cooperation and heighten submission of submissive male. Begging and pleading to stop the feminization may be part of the fantasy.
  • Slave Training [ bdsm-training, discipline-punishment, dominatrix-training, flogging-crops-paddling, slave-training ]

KTTG: Slave Training In BDSM, Master/slave, M/s or sexual slavery is a relationship in which one individual serves another in an authority-exchange structured relationship. Unlike Dominant/submissive structures found in BDSM in which love is often the core value, service and obedience are often the core values in Master/slave structures. The participants may be of any gender or sexual orientation. The relationship uses the term "slave" because of the association of the term with ownership rights of a master to their slave's body, as property or chattel. While male "masters" will usually be referred to as "Master", whether or not female Masters are referred to as "Master" or "Mistress" may depend upon whether they identify as following the leather subculture or BDSM path, or simply preference.
  • Spanked [ bdsm-training, bondage-rope, ds-training, discipline-punishment, dominatrix-training, fetishes, flogging-crops-paddling, slave-training ]

AKA Erotic spanking is the act of spanking another person for the sexual arousal or gratification of either or both parties. It may involve very light and brief spanking or much more extensive spanking, including the use of implements such as whips or paddles. Activities range from a spontaneous smack on bare buttocks during a sexual activity, to occasional sexual roleplay, such as ageplay, to domestic discipline and may involve the use of a hand or the use of a variety of spanking implements, such as a spanking paddle or cane. Erotic spankings are commonly combined with other forms of sexual foreplay. The most common type of erotic spanking is administered on the bare buttocks, but can also be combined with bondage, in order to heighten the sexual stimulation of the experience.
  • Spanking [ bdsm-training, ds-training, discipline-punishment, dominatrix-training, flogging-crops-paddling, slave-training ]

  • Spreader Bars [ bdsm-training, bondage-rope, discipline-punishment, dominatrix-training, flogging-crops-paddling, slave-training ]

KTTG: Spreader BarsA spreader bar is an article of bondage equipment consisting of a metal or wooden bar, with attachment points for bondage cuffs at each end, which can be fastened to wrists, ankles or knees to hold them apart. They are used in bondage play, and sometimes in bedroom bondage, usually in association with other bondage equipment. When applied to the wrists, a bar keeps the arms spread away from the body, providing an unimpeded access to the subject's torso. When applied to the ankles or between the knees, it immobilizes the subject by preventing all but the most awkward walking, and keeping the legs spread to allow unimpeded access to the subject's groin and trunk. If bars are applied between the knees and between the ankles, the subject may be forced to bend their knees, making walking even harder. A pair of bars may hold the subject in a spreadeagle position.
  • St Andrews Cross [ bdsm-training, bondage-rope, ds-training, discipline-punishment, dominatrix-training, fetishes, flogging-crops-paddling ]

The St. Andrew's Cross and the spanking bench are the most common pieces of BDSM furniture. Saltires are versatile and easy to manufacture. They are usually firmly attached to a wall, and is distinguished from a BDSM-style Catherine Wheel, which has a central hinge and allows occupants to be turned upside down. The submissive may be attached to the cross with either the back or front facing the cross. Being restrained facing the cross is the position often used for whipping. Being attached with one's back to the cross is usually more of a sexual bondage position or used for sexual teasing.
  • Submissive [ bdsm-training, bondage-rope, ds-training, discipline-punishment, dominatrix-training, flogging-crops-paddling, foot-worship, slave-training ]

SubmissiveDominance and submission (also called D/s) is a set of behaviors, customs, and rituals involving the submission of one person to another in an erotic episode or lifestyle. It is a subset of BDSM. Physical contact is not necessary, and D/s can be conducted anonymously over the telephone, email, or other messaging systems. In other cases, it can be intensely physical, sometimes crossing into sadomasochism. In D/s, both parties take pleasure or erotic enjoyment from either dominating or being dominated. Those who take the superior position are called "dominants"—Doms (male) or Dommes (female)—while those who take the subordinate position are called "submissive"—or subs (male or female). A switch is an individual who plays either role. Two switches together may negotiate and exchange roles several times in a session. The term dominatrix usually refers to a female sex worker who dominates others for pay.
  • Violet Wand [ bdsm-training, ds-training, discipline-punishment, dominatrix-training, slave-training ]

KTTG: Violet WandViolet wands were originally electric and neon testers, but are now split into two types: mechanical (Tesla Coil), and solid-state wands. They are used for the application of low current, high voltage (min 35 kV to max 65 kV typically), high-frequency electricity to the body, as such they are most commonly used in BDSM though erotic sensation play. Violet wands can deliver a variety of sharp, cutting, or piercing type sensations. A violet wand typically consists of a hand-held "wand" made of plastic case which encases the mechanical (tesla coil) or solid state components; a power cable, a collet (7/16" in the United States, 11 mm in Europe), and a cone. The collet is inside the cone end of the Violet Wand and is where glass and metal probes are inserted to be used with the wand. The cone is there to prevent sparks jumping from the collet directly to subject. Violet wands can be used anywhere on the body but should not be used around the eyes.
  • Worship [ bdsm-training, ds-training, dominatrix-training, foot-worship, slave-training ]

Worship AKA Body Worship is any practice of physically revering a part of another person's body, and is usually done as a submissive act in the context of BDSM. Typical kinds of body worship include worship of muscles, the penis, the vagina, or the buttocks. Usually accompanied by prostration, re-enforcing a sense of inferiority, a "sub" generally licks, kisses and sucks their dominant's body part, and is not allowed to touch it in a more conventional way. This brings an aspect of erotic humiliation to the submissive partner. Worshipping a body can also be done because the worshipper is in awe of the body part and wishes to praise that beauty. Although encouragement may be provided, verbally or by spanking, body worship is typically received more or less passively, the worshipped party aloof. Facesitting and smothering are forms of body worship which differ chiefly because of their aggressive approach.
